Friends Landing Camp Host

A volunteer camp host is needed to assist the campground caretaker and Port of Grays Harbor staff with routine visitor services and general maintenance of Friends Landing. Volunteer contract time frame: Begin April 15, 2024 and expected to remain on-site through October 15, 2024. May arrive on-site as early as March 15, 2024 and remain on-site no later than November 15, 2024.

SATSOP BUSINESS PARK & FRIENDS LANDING

SUMMER MAINTENANCE CREW

Seeking reliable, energetic team players with positive attitudes. Duties include mowing, trimming, trail clearing and general maintenance including clean-up. Some office work is possible dependent upon qualifications and need. Must work well with customers and co-workers in an active business park and a busy RV park and be able to lift heavy loads. $16.75/hr. 40 hrs/wk.

Westport Marina Seasonal

SUMMER MAINTENANCE CREW

 Seeking reliable, energetic team players with positive attitude and willingness to learn. Duties include dock repair, general maintenance and clean-up.  Must be able to work well with customers in active marina and lift heavy loads.   $16.75/hr.  40 hrs/wk.  Some positions required to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Security Officer

Part-time, average less than 40 hours/wk.  Provide security services, controlling access and monitoring Port’s marine terminal shipping complex.  Must be able to understand, follow and enforce homeland security procedures for busy industrial waterfront facilities.  Must communicate well with customers, staff, marine transportation workers, public safety agencies. Must be able to obtain TWIC (tsa.gov/for-industry/twic) and have current Washington Driver’s License.   Requires sitting for long periods, monitoring video screens, observation and detection, and making reports.  Previous experience preferred.  $21.95/hour plus benefit package.  Rotating shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays.  Hours and shifts depend on cargo yard activity.  Member of Port Security Officer Guild bargaining unit.  Submit Port application to: Dir. of Finance, PO Box 660, Aberdeen, WA  98520.
